It was just a typacil day in New York city,Shadow was hanging out in a dark alley,And he was wondering if his life still had meaning,he was wondering if he should commit suicide.Then he heard a high pitch scream,he recognized it,but he couldn't put is finger on it.He followed the voice,and he saw amy.She wasn't in trouble,but someone else was.she was screaming becuase she finally found sonic."SONIC I FINALLY FOUND YOU!!!!!!!"amy yelled.

"AMY THERE'S A REASON YOU COULDN'T FIND ME,I NEVER LOVED YOU AND I NEVER WILL!!!!!!!!!!"Sonic screamed back at her and left.Amy fell to her knee's and cried.

Shadow walked up to her and said"wow your pathetic"

Amy was shocked shadow even came over,shocked and furious"YOU'RE SUCH A JERK SHADOW!!!YOU DON'T KNOW ATHING ABOUT LOVE!!!"

Shadow wasn't at all surprised about what she said"You know it's true,your an obsessive fangirl with only one goal and life.Your just sonic's shadow coulored pink"

Amy was even madder than before,this time she knew he was right,and she didn't know what to say"You have no idea what the meaning of sympathy is"Amy was calm at this point.

"Yeah but your calmed down,aren't you?"Shadow responded

Amy got a shocked look on her face.Shadow's therapy worked amazingly.

"I have a good feeling we'll meet again later"

-that  night-

Shadow was sitting alone on the statue of liberty's torch."Nice to come out here at night isn't it,amy?"Amy was sitting behind the torch on the statue of liberty with a startled look on her face"you can come up"Amy walked up to shadow.

"How did you know I was there?"amy asked

"I'm the ultimate life form"Shadow responded

Amy giggled,She couldn't say anything as a response

"what's so funny?"Shadow asked

"You are,just the way you say ''I'm the ultimate life form"Amy giggled after she responded.

"it is kind of a strange,but true thing to say"Shadow said in a stern voice

"I li-your a good guy"Amy said after she stuttered

"Thanks,and I undersstand what you were saying before"Shadow responded to her stutter

"I wasn't saying what you think.I wa-"Amy was cut off by shadow

Shadow grabbed her head and pulled it twoards her,and gave her a quick kiss on the lips

Amy's eyes went to the top of her lids,and she gave a huge smile,she was so shocked she almost fell off the torch only to be grabbed by shadow.

"Maybe we can go to my apartment so you won't suffer a 5000 foot drop"Shadow said in a sarcastic yet soothing voice

"That sounds really nice"Amy said

-Shadow's apartment-

Shadow's apartment was...different than amy's.He had metalica posters,666 was carved on a lot of things,there were 2 upside-down crosses on the cupboards,the walls were painted black,and he had a-lot of chao skulls.

"This is...nice"Amy said in a lying voice

"I imagine we have absolutely nothing in common?"Shadow responded to her lie

"no we both have...walls"Amy said trying to not get hated by another hedehog

"heh,you don't have to find something we have in common"Shadow confirmed to her"I'll go make coffe,what do you like in yours?"Shadow asked

"cream,pleasse"Amy answered

shadow poured some coffee into two chao skulls,and poured cream into both.When he brought them to amy,she took a sip and asked"shadow where do you get these mugs?"

"dark garden"Shadow answered after he took a sip.

Amy was in an awkward state of mind.For the first time,she was ina guy's apartment."shadow,why did you let me come to your apartment?"Amy asked

"well,I think I love you"shadow said smoothly

Amy had no idea what to say,so she said it"I,guess,I love you"

Shadow lightly held the back of amy's head,as amy lightly held the back of shadow's head.They moved eachothers heads closer and closer until ruby red met emerald green as they kissed.

"you know,looking at this apartment again,it's really nice"Amy said as shadow gave a smile

-rouge's house-

"Um,hey rouge,can I have your help?"Amy asked rouge

"sure,what do you want?"Rouge said welcomingly

"I,really like,this is hard to say,I really like shadow,and what does he like?"Amy asked

"well he's goth,so dark colours,skulls,metallica,all that stuff"rouge told her

"cool,do you have anything?"amy asked

"everything"rouge said as she walked in

rouge showed amy the black&red hair die,the purple eyeliner,the tight black and red shirt,aong with the black and red shorts,and shoes"wow,that's.....exactly  what I'm looking for,how much?"Amy asked

"if it works out with shadow in a week,free,if not,you just have to bring them back"Rouge told amy

"really?!?thanks rouge!"Amy exclaimed

-shadow's apartmant-

shadow was writing 666 on the back of his chao skull when he heard the doorbell ring"come in!"he yelled

Amy walked in the door"hi shad"Amy said as she walked closer to shadow

Shadow turned around to see how great amy looked

"amy you look,amazing"Shadow said with a tiny blush

"thanks"amy sad with a slightly larger blush

"wanna go to starbucks?my treat"Shadow said in a kind voice

-starbucks-

neither shadow or amy had touched their coffee,they spent the entire time talking about eachothers life

Sonic,Tails&Knuckles were sitting across the room"hey,sonic,is that,amy?"tails asked confused

"my god she's with shadow,she finally lost it"knuckles stated

"I bet 500 rings she'll freak out  if I ask her on a date,you in tails?alright!"sonic said as she closed the bet with tails

"hey amy,wanna go on a date tonight?"sonic asked with hiis trademark smile

"go die in a ditch"Shadow told sonic

"I was asking amy faker"sonic said in an angry voice

"Shadow's right jerk"amy said more angry than sonic

Sonic walked back to tails and knuckles

"you owe me 500 rings"tails said quickly

"SHUT UP!!!!!"sonic yelled
